I believe the biggest potential for Poetry Pro-Am is in after school programs. There might not always be a trained teacher in charge of an after school program, and perhaps not enough adult supervision in general, and an exercise that doesn’t require training or preparation, that almost runs itself, but that promotes interaction and community among the students, might be the perfect activity.
